How long will it take feel any results?

Depending on your needs, and the duration of your treatments, many patients see results in a short period of time. The short-term effect is significant in 5-10 percent of cases during or after the initial treatment. In most cases we expect to see some change in symptoms after 3 to 5 visits. In a recent clinical report of 151 consecutive cases using Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) the average patient required eleven treatments for maximum improvement.

How many treatments will I need?

One of the greatest benefits of Laser Therapy is that it can be tailored to fit your specific condition. The response of your body will determine how many treatments you need. Your Laser Therapist will work with you to measures your progress, always assessing what adjustments can be made, based on your body's response, to improve your customized treatment. Our objective is to provide the best possible care in the least number of visits.

Once therapy begins, we can determine more accurately how many treatments you will need. In most cases we expect to see some change in symptoms after 3 to 5 visits, but in a small percentage a more prolonged period of treatment may be required.

How long has laser therapy been used successfully?

Light has been recognized as a source of energy and healing since the early days of recorded time. Ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians practiced heliotherapy, or healing by sunlight to treat various ailments. Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) has been researched in multiple double blind studies and has been used in practice for over thirty years.

Are there any risks?

Laser Therapy is a painless, non-invasive therapy. During treatment, some patients, but for most there is a sense of relaxation or calming warmth. Patients have experienced remarkable results and no adverse effects have been reported.

Is LILT covered by insurance?

Extended health insurance plans and Motor Vehicle Accident claims both cover Laser Therapy. Laser Therapy fees are modest in comparison to traditional healthcare expenses and we work with you to provide the best possible care in the least number of visits.

Is this like laser eye surgery?

No. Laser Therapy is a non-invasive therapy. We use low intensity lasers that differ from those used to correct vision.

Will the Laser Therapist take the time to understand my condition?

Laser Therapists are in the office for one important purpose: to improve your health and quality of life. Because each patient's needs differ, we will discuss your condition until we come to a mutual understanding of your needs. At that time we can recommend a treatment tailored just for you.

Is Low Level Laser Therapy medically approved?

Low Level Laser Therapy is a non-medical procedure, As such, it is not covered by most insurance plans. However, many medical doctors and dentists do refer their patients. RPM Laser Therapy uses CSA approved laser equipment. Worldwide thousands of professional health care providers use Low Level Lasers in their practices.

Is Low Level Laser Therapy safe?

Absolutely, Low Level Laser Therapy is completely safe, painless and drug-free. Certified Low Level Laser therapists use only approved proprietary protocols.

How Many points are covered?

It is important that key trigger points are used, if they try to do less points the effectiveness decreases. RPM Laser Therapy does approx. 40 points for 1 smoking treatment. These points include appetite points for those concerned with weight gain. Additional weight points are available. Please ask if you wish to have them applied to you.

What part of the body is treated?

Low Level Laser is applied to specific acupuncture or energy points located on the ears, nose, hands and feet. The actual points vary depending on the specific problem being treated.

How effective is Low Level Laser Therapy to stop or quit smoking?

Results are exceptionally high compared to alternative methods such as the nicotine patch, nicotine gum, anti depressant drugs, cold turkey, stop smoking pills or potions and hypnosis, etc.

How long does a Low Level Laser Therapy session take?

A typical session takes between 60 minutes depending on each person's individual situation.  The FREE UNLIMITED 24/7 Follow-up treatments are 30 mins long.

Does the clinic offer follow-ups?

One hour treatment will get your body back into control. One treatment is typical, but if you feel like you’re not the typical smoker, and you feel your mind playing games, use all the FREE follow ups you need for 8 weeks. We want you to succeed

How long is the treatment?

Smoking Cessation cannot be done properly in less than 60 minutes. At RPM Laser Therapy you should allow 1 hr to 1 1⁄2 hrs for the starting treatment

What other aids are provided to help assist in staying quit?

RPM Laser Therapy supplies a CD with tons of information and relaxation tracks. We supply a handbook with smoking support information including tips, techniques and ideas to break the physiological habit.
